This is a paperback first edition copy of "Stauffenberg", War Leader Book Number 21 in the Ballantine's Illustrated History of the Violent Century series. Written by G.S. Graber, this volume focuses on Claus Philipp Maria Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg, German Army officer put to death for his involvement in the assassination attempt on Hitler termed "Operation Valkyrie".
