Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1970s submarine patch for the USS Bluefish (SSN-675). The Bluefish was launched at Groton, Connecticut on January 10, 1970. She was decommissioned on May 31, 199The patch has a raised, embroidered design of a bluefish at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1970s.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-9/16" in height and 3-7/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Polyester embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

None.
