ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1970's Special Police badge for Lowell General Hospital (L.G.H.) in Lowell, Massachusetts. The hospital was founded in 1891 and is still in existence today. This badge was recently purchased from a man who was breaking up his Lowell collection, and came to us along with a Lowell Knights' Templar badge (please see link at bottom of page for more information - sold separately). The badge is in a shirt-size and has a raised seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1970's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop-in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Massachusetts police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAEX13 LFEX10/13 SFEX11/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows very little wear.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
