This is a 1970s pilot wing 3rd issue for Northeast Airlines. This wing is usually accompanied by a separate "NE" pin, and could denote either First Officer or Captain, depending upon whether the top piece shows a star (First Officer) or a wreathed star (Captain). The wing is very angular, slender and minimalist.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 5/8" in height and 3-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two single screw posts.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The wing shows some very small spots of wear and the left tip of the wing is slightly warped.
