Description
This is a circa 1970s or 1980s United States Tennessee Valley Authority (USTVA) Public Safety Service badge. The Tennessee Valley Authority is a federally-run corporation organized in 1933 to safeguard the infrastructure of the Tennessee Valley area from economic hardship such as the kind caused by the Great Depression. The badge has a small eagle at its center with enameled details.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s-1980s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-9/16" in height and 2-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, enamel details.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
