ARTIFACT: 1970's ??? 1980's Deering, New Hampshire Fire Rescue firefighter badge by Blackinton. The center of the badge features a red enameled disc that shows a fireman's helmet, hook, horn, axe, and ladder. The badge is topped with a spread winged eagle and reads: "FIREFIGHTER DEERING FIRE RESCUE N.H.".

VINTAGE: Circa 1970's ??? 1980's

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 1-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass, enamel, black paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop in locking swivel catch

MARKINGS: "BLACKINTON"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire fighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX16 LFJX6/16

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows minor to moderate wear mostly to high points, much of the chrome plating and enamel details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
