ARTIFACT:
This is a circa 1962 French naval ship badge by Augis for the frigate "Commandant Rivière". The ship was on December 4, 1962 and was a "sloop-escort", designed as an escort and peacekeeping vessel. Ceci est un insigne navale par Augis circa 1962 de la frégate "Commandant Rivière". Le navire a été commandé le 4 Décembre, 1962 et était un "aviso-escorteur" conçu comme un navire d'escorte et de maintien de la paix.

Circa 1962.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/4" in width. Environ 2.9 cm par 3.2 cm.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gold-plated brass, enamel. Laiton or, emailé.
ATTACHMENT:
