1961 Indianapolis 500 50th Anniversary Bronze Pit Badge

This is a 1961 bronze pit badge for the 50th Anniversary of the Indianapolis 500 (mile) automobile race. The badge is numbered 5043 and would have been worn by members of the press.

Circa 1961.

Approximately 15/16" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

Bronze.

Vertical pin with drop-in locking catch.
