ARTIFACT:

This is an unidentified Japanese-made novelty jacket patch for either the United States Air Force or United States Navy. The patch appears to show a black shoe (representative of the Air Force) stomping on a Navy wing.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-3/4" in height and 4-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

None.

CONDITION:

6- (Fine): The patch shows moderate to heavy wear with some small areas of ligh7 discoloration and is quite puckered.
