This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 33rd Field Artillery Regiment by Ira Green. The DI shows a golden lion couchant, sleeping with his eyes open, and reads SERVABO FIDEM (I will keep faith).
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:G23 IRA GREEN INC. MADE IN USA.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI has some small spots of light wear.
