1960s Stainless Steel Amboss of Austria Flatware as Used in 2001: A Space Odyssey

These are dining utensils (sold either as a 17 piece set or separately) as used in the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey". The pieces are stainless steel and are by Amboss of Austria. There is one salad fork ($18), two teaspoons ($18 each), two dinner forks ($23 each), five table spoons ($20 each) and seven knives ($18 each). The knives are completely flat but the heads of the forks and spoons rise up at about a 30-45 degree angle.

Circa 1960s.

Utensils range between approximately 8-1/4" in length and 7/8" width (knife) to approximately 5-7/8" in length and 1" width (teaspoon).
