ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1960s ship's badge for the Norwegian coastal cruiser M/S Kong Olav, or "King Olaf". The ship was launched November 15, 1963 and served 33 years. She was eventually sold to Burma.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, painted details.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX12 LDIX3/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge some small spots of light wear and tarnish.
