Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1960s Mack Fire Apparatus patch. Mack Fire Apparatus, part of Mack Trucks, began manufacturing fire equipment in 1911 out of Allentown, Pennsylvania. It is an oval patch in twill embroidered with the company's bull dog logo at the top.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-13/16" in height and 3-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Twill embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

CONDITION:

6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The patch has some scattered areas of light discoloration.
