ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1960s Japanese-made Strategic Air Command Bomb-Nav Competition "Saunders Trophy Winners" jacket patch. The Saunders Trophy was given out each year to the Top/Best Air Refueling unit. The patch is embroidered on blue twill and shows the trophy at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 3" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force jacket patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MAJV13 LFJX11/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some light wear.
