Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1960 United States Air Force Strategic Air Command patch. The patch is crest-shaped and shows an armored fist grasping a branch and some red lightning bolts.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-1/8" in height and 3-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): The patch shows light wear and a few small spots of discoloration.
