This is a circa 1960s Japanese-made lighter for the United States Navy VA-216 ATKRON 216 attack squadron, also known as the "Black Diamonds". The front of the lighter bears a black and white enameled shield with assorted battle weapons.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/16" height and 1-1/4" width and 3/8" thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:To be carried in pocket to light your smokes.
MARKINGS:JAPAN.
