This is a 1960s pocket patch for the United States Army 52nd Combat Aviation Battalion, aka "Flying Dragons". The 52nd participated in numerous operations, including the Tet Offensive of 196The patch is in a brilliant shade of blue and is hand-embroidered.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/2" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton hand-embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
