Description
This is a 1960s airline wing for Dominicana (Dominicana de Aviacin), a company that started out flying from the Dominican to locales such as the US, Spain and Puerto Rico in 194The company ceased to exist in 199The wing shows a capital D with a slender aircraft shooting through it. The wing now has a handsome coppery tone from both polishing and the tropical climate in which it was used.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 3/4" in height and 3" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enameled details.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
