ARTIFACT: This is a pilot wing 5th issue for Braniff International Airways, which operated from the 1930s until the 1980s. The wing is very minimalistic with a star at top and BI against a field of white enamel at center. It is by O. C. Tanner of Salt Lake City, Utah.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 3-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts (backings are missing).

MARKINGS: TCO?? (O.C. Tanner maker mark) 1/5 10K.

ITEM NOTES: The wing you receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VDJX6/94 LAHEX11/10 S(1)AHEX9/15 Se(1)BCEX3/16

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Wing shows minor to moderate surface abrasions.
