Description
This is a 1950s work shirt for Blue Seal Feeds, a New England seed manufacturing company around since the 19th century. The shirt reads BLUE SEAL FEEDS in chain stitch embroidery on its back. The shirt is a medium chambray blue and has a subtle herringbone stripe pattern.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:No size tag: 24" from armpit to armpit, 30-1/2" length from top of shoulder to bottom, 20-1/2" from shoulder to shoulder along back and 22" from shoulder seam to end of cuff.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sanforized cotton with chain stitch embroidery, resin buttons.
ATTACHMENT:Buttons up front and on cuffs and pockets.
MARKINGS:DEMANDER SANFORIZED UNIFORM SHIRT.

CONDITION:6- (Fine): The shirt shows moderate wear with scattered small stains, areas of discoloration inside the neck and two horizontal stain stripes along the bottom (in rear). There are two holes on left arm (one dime-sized and one much smaller).
