This is a French badge for the 61e Bataillon De Transmissions Aroport (61st Airborne Signal Battalion), which was activated March 1, 196The badge is by Drago and shows a parachute with a golden star and an enameled T at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-7/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.
MARKINGS:DRAGO PARIS on pin and on saddle.
