It is a volume about what life was like for the typical Civil War soldier based upon research of contemporary written accounts. The book has many black-and-white photographs and illustrations and has its original dust jacket. It was published in 1959 by Bonanza Books of New York.

SIZE: 273 pages; approximately 11-1/4" in height and 8-5/8" in width.
