Description

ARTIFACT:

Great 1950's WWII Occupation Period US Army 603rd Tank Company souvenir desk clock. The desk clock features a German-made enameled DI that displays a gold shield and bears a black diagonal stripe, horse's head, and a triangle in the center with a tank wheel embellishment, sections of red and blue, and the bottom reads: "603 TANK". The clock was also made in Germany and displays the maker's name: "RENSIE ALARM GERMANY" on the clock face and shows the numbers - 3, 6, and 9 with brass triangles denoting remaining numbers. The desk clock appears to be made of an exquisite exotic wood laminate and both the clock and alarm are in great working condition, the reverse shows one of the three retaining screws on the clock is missing.
