Description
This is a circa 1950s United States Navy USS Frontier AD-25 destroyer tender jacket patch. Launched from San Pedro, California before the close of the war on March 25, 1945, he Frontier served from 1946 until 197The patch is fully embroidered in a crest shape with four red and green panels showing items such as tools, keys and a caduceus. The patch reads FRONTIER CAN DO upon a central banner.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-3/8" in height and 3-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester thread.
