This is a circa 1950s Universe erotic novelty lighter for the United States Navy. The front of the lighter reads MEMORY OF OKINAWA and shows a robed woman admiring a bird. The reverse of the lighter shows a disrobed woman smelling a flower.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-1/2" width and 3/8" thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Hinge.
MARKINGS:SUPERIOR LIGHTER UNIVERSE MFG. CO. LTD. with maker's mark.
