1950s US Army 606th Anti-Aircraft Artillery (AAA) Bn DI by Meyer

This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 606th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion by N.S. Meyer. The DI is a crest bearing a lion, a winged arrow and a defense wall. The DI reads AD FINEM DEFENSOR (defenders to the end).

Circa 1950s.

Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, shield maker mark, 9M in crest.
