ARTIFACT: This is an unusual small size jacket or hat patch for the United States Naval Air Station at Pensacola, Florida from the 1950s. The patch shows a duck wearing an aviator's helmet who is trying to launch into flight from the water.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height and 2-11/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX10 LFJX9/11 SFJX6/14

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The patch has only the lightest of wear along its edge.
