This is a circa 1950s New Hampshire Police Association wallet or lapel badge with the original owner's initials on a banner at the top: G.A.M. The Association has been around since November 1940. The small shield-shaped badge has an abbreviated version of the New Hampshire State seal at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-7/16" in height and 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:G.A.M. on front.
