1950s Locally Made Badge Staff of the Air Indochina l'Etat-Major de l'Air en Indochine

This is a locally-made 1950s badge for the French Staff of the Air Indochina. The badge is a Shiva-like figure with wings perched upon an anchor that reads AIR EO. Ceci est un badge 1950 circa de fabrication locale pour l'Etat-Major de l'Air en Indochine. Le badge est une figure ressemblant à Shiva avec des ailes perché sur une ancre qui lit AIR EXTREME ORIENT.

Circa early 1950's.

Approximately 1-11/16" in height x 1-3/4" in width. Environ 4.3 cm par 4.4 cm.

Nickel-plated cast brass. Laiton coulé nickelé.

Vertical safety-style pin with saddle. Verticale de sécurité de style broches avec selle.
