ARTIFACT:

This is a French badge for the 4th Infantry Training School (CII 4) by Bertrand. The badge reads ILS S'INSTRUISENT POUR PACIFIER (they learn to pacify). par Bertrand. Ceci est un insigne pour le Centre d' instruction de l'Infanterie N 4 (CII4). L'nisgne lit ILS S'INSTRUISENT POUR PACIFIER.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-7/16" in height and 1-1/16" in width. Environ 3.7 cm par 2.7 cm.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Brass, enamel. Laiton.

ATTACHMENT:
