This is a Dunhill pipe tamper/tool in brass, stainless steel and black vulcanite from the 1950s. The tool screws out of the vulcanite casing, and comes in its original box.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Tool: approximately 3-1/8" in length and 1/2" in diameter (at end); box: approximately 1-1/16" by 3-11/16" by 11/16".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass, stainless steel and black vulcanite; cardboard.
ATTACHMENT:Screw-in.
MARKINGS:MADE IN ENGLAND.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The tool and box are both in excellent condition with only some small spots of visible wear, mostly on one end of the box.
