Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a Dunhill pipe tamper/tool in brass, stainless steel and black vulcanite from the 1950s. The tool screws out of the vulcanite casing, and comes in its original box.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950s.

SIZE:

Tool: approximately 3-1/8" in length and 1/2" in diameter (at end); box: approximately 1-1/16" by 3-11/16" by 11/16".

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Brass, stainless steel and black vulcanite; cardboard.

ATTACHMENT:

Screw-in.

MARKINGS:

MADE IN ENGLAND.
