Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a Dunhill pipe tamper/tool in brass, stainless steel and brindle vulcanite from the 1950s. The tool screws out of the vulcanite casing, which has a faux wood grain finish.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-1/8" in length and 1/2" in diameter (at end).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Brass, stainless steel and brindle vulcanite.

ATTACHMENT:

To be carried in pocket to tamp your tobacco.
