This is a 1950s work jacket of gabardine wool construction. It was originally used at a Chevrolet dealership in North Quincy, Ma. which is south of Boston.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Not labeled but it appears to be 38-40.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gabardine wool with a wool blanket lining.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:Not labeled. Worker's name "George" embroidered over right pocket. North Quincy (MA) CHEVROLET patch sewn on over left pocket. Zipper marked "Gripper Zipper".
ITEM NOTES:This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX05 LEJX SEJX7/07
CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): Only flaw I can find is the wear spot on the collar (see image). Other than that the jacket is very clean.
