ARTIFACT:
This is a large Chevrolet employee back patch on blue twill. The center of the patch resembles the grille of an automobile flanked by wings, and features the Chevrolet "bowtie", which was legendarily copied in 1908 from wallpaper in a French hotel.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1950's.
SIZE:
Approximately 3-1/16" in height and 10-1/4" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.
