This is a large Chevrolet employee back patch on blue twill. The center of the patch resembles the grille of an automobile flanked by wings, and features the Chevrolet "bowtie", which was legendarily copied in 1908 from wallpaper in a French hotel.
Approximately 3-1/16" in height and 10-1/4" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.
This is from an automotive company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAX00 LFJX1/11
8+ (Excellent): The patch shows hardly any wear.
GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
