Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a cool old circa 1950s or 1960s State of Maine Inspection Station sign. The two lines at the bottom read "Authorized by Maine State Police". The sign is in a mustard yellow screen-printed plastic with rounded edges and two holes for hanging. The Seal of the State of Maine is at the center, with the motto "DIRIGO" (I lead).

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950s-1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 22" in height and 16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Screen-printed plastic.

ATTACHMENT:

Holes.
