ARTIFACT: This is a 1944 copy of the United States Army Technical Manual TM 30-318 entitled "Turkish: A Guide to the Spoken Language". It covers many useful Turkish words and phrases and has examples of international road signs. This booklet has some black-and-white cartoon illustrations to accompany the instructional text.

VINTAGE: Published 1944.

SIZE: 80 pages; approximately 5-1/4" in height and 4-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover; paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.
