This is a restricted 1944 manual prepared by the Headquarters Army Air Forces Office of Flying Safety entitled "Personal Equipment: A Manual for B-29 Crews". The book covers oxygen, life preservers, flak suits and helmets, first aid, parachute operation and more. This is a must for any escape and evasion, as well as any B-29 collection! The cover of the book was inscribed by its original owner, about whom we have no information.
VINTAGE:Published July 1944.
SIZE:58 pages, including black and white photographs and some one-color illustrations. Approximately 11" in height and 8-1/8" in width.
