This is a 1944 dated United States Army M1911A .45 holster. The M1911 was a standard-issue pistol adopted in 1911, and its successor, the M1911A, debuted in 192The holster is by Boyt and has a maker's mark on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately by 10-1/4" in length and 5-1/4" in width (at widest part).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Leather, brass.
ATTACHMENT:Metal clips, slots, brass peg, hole.
MARKINGS:BOYT 44.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The holster has some scuffing and areas of medium darkening.
