This is a launching ribbon for the Submarine USS Sawfish SS-276 from Portsmouth Navy Yard on June 23, 1942 and bears the slogan Remember Pearl Harbor". The Sawfish earned eight battle stars for her World War II service.
VINTAGE:Circa 1942.
SIZE:About 2-1/4" in width by 5-3/16" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Printed silk.
