This is a launching ribbon for the high-scoring USS Kingfish SS-234, launched from the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard on March 2, 194Kingfish made 12 war patrols, sinking 14 enemy ships, and was awarded nine battle stars for her World War II service.
VINTAGE:Circa 1942.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4 in width and 5-1/4" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Printed silk.
