Description
1940's Lake George, New York police badge. The lovely, shield-shaped badge shows an eagle at the top, wings spread and head bowed. The center features a raised disc that depicts the Great Seal of the State of New York in relief detail reading: "STATE OF NEW YORK" in embossed letters around the outside. Banners or scrolls above and below read: "POLICE LAKE GEORGE N.Y." in stamped lettering and black painted detail.
