ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1940s Harley-Davidson motorcycle tag in aluminum. Incredibly enough, the legend that is Harley-Davidson started in the Midwest in 1903 in a wooden shed. The last patent date for this tag is 1942.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately " in height and in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Aluminum.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: PATENTED 2180521 (etc.) OTHER PATENTS PENDING HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTOR CO. MILWAUKEE, WIS. MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a motorcycle collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDX13 LAAEX3/13 SeAEJX9/16

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The tag shows only some light wear and has some adhesive residue on reverse only.
