1940's Bendix Aviation Eclipse - Pioneer Division 10 Years of Service Lapel Pin in 10K Gold

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1940s lapel pin for ten years of service with Eclipse-Pioneer. The company started out as Pioneer Instrument Company in 1919 and nine years later became a division of Bendix Aviation. Their name was changed to Eclipse-Pioneer in 1943. The pin is in 10 karat gold with enamel details.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1940's.

SIZE:

Approximately 5/16" in width and 1" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

10 karat gold with enamel details.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

10K.
