1940s Eastern Air Lines Baggage Tag for F. E. Davis

This is a 1940s Eastern Air Lines baggage tag for F. E. Davis, whose name is engraved on the reverse. The tag reads EASTERN AIR LINES THE GREAT SILVER FLEET and shows a great crimson bird flying against a background of two shades of blue.

Circa mid- to late 1940s.

Approximately 1-7/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width; chain is 2-1/4" long as shown.

White metal with painted/enameled lettering.

Chain with clasp.
