ARTIFACT: This is a 1940s Continental Airlines employee badge. The badge reads CONTINENTAL AIR LINES 42 and shows a blue, white and red eagle at center in a phoenix-like design.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s.

SIZE: 1-3/4" height and 2-1/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass with enamel details.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: COLO BADEE & NOV. CO. DENVER and JWU35 mark.
