This is a circa 1940s painted tin advertising pin for the American Oil Company (AMOCO), a company started in 1922. The non-descript man pictured on the pin urges the reader to join the "Join the American Party". It dates from the 1940s: 1940, 1944 and 1948 were the election years of that decade..

Circa 1940s.

Approximately 1" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Painted tin.
