Description

ARTIFACT:

1940's-50's Topeka, Kansas Police Badge. The badge features the Great Seal of the State of Kansas in the center and reads: "JANUARY 29, 1861" and below the state motto, depicts horses and mountains on the horizon. There is an eagle perched at the top and the badge reads: "TOPEKA POLICE" and is #'d "96".

VINTAGE:

Circa 1940's – 1950's

SIZE:

Approximately 2 ¾" x 1 ¾"

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome plated, nickeled brass, and paint.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical 'T' style pin with drop in tension locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

None.
