ARTIFACT: 1937 Old Newboys Goodfellow Fund donation badge. The large, oval, celluloid badge is in red and white and reads: "OLD NEWBOYS 1937 GOODFELLOW FUND". The badge is possibly from Detroit where a Goodfellow Fund was setup in 1914. The Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund by James J. Brady with a focused mission that ensures that there is "No Kiddie without a Christmas."

VINTAGE: Circa 1937

SIZE: Approximately 2 3/8" x 1 5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, steel

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety style pin.

MARKINGS: "PARISIAN NOVELTY CO. CHICAGO", "MADE IN USA" on edge of badge
