Description
This is a beautiful 1933 membership document for the Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. This document was issued to Earl Kendall (Van) Swearingen, United States Navy aviator and later commander of the USS Izard (DD-589) during World War II. This membership to the District of Columbia Society was issued to Swearingen around the time he graduated from Annapolis. The nicely illustrated document has a foil seal and ribbon attached.
VINTAGE:Circa 1933.
SIZE:Approximately 19" in height by 23-7/8" in width (not including foam board).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Paper, gold foil, silk.

ITEM NOTES:This document will be shipped unwrapped and rolled without the foam board, unless arrangements are made for pick-up or special shipping to preserve the shrink wrap mounting.
