This is a circa late 1930s to World War II lapel badge for the Italian Fascist Youth. The group began in 1926 as the ONB (Opera Nazionale Balilla) and was renamed GIL (Giuventu Italiana del Littorio) in 1937. Questo un badge per il bavero della giovent fascista italiano dal 1930 circa, attraverso la fine della seconda guerra mondiale. Il gruppo ha iniziato nel 1926 come Opera Nazionale Balilla ed stato rinominato Giovent Italiana del Littorio nel 1937.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1930s through World War II. 1930 attraverso la Seconda Guerra Mondiale.
SIZE:
Approximately 1" in height and 5/8" in width. Circa 2.5 cm di 1.6 cm.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gold-plated brass, enamel. Ottone dorato, smalto.
